Vision Sub-Committee

The Visionary Sub-Committee met last night at the home of Bert & Karen Aeschliman to discuss and prepare for the upcoming Vision Committee presentation to the church on Wednesday evening November 28, 2007 at 7:15 pm.

We will be serving pizza at 6:30 for all who can attend.

The Vision Committee believes this is a very important night and strongly encourages all who consider the Indy AC church "home" to attend.

Sunday School

The Sunday School has had a great first half of the year. In addition to our Sunday class sessions, highlights include the Sunday School picnic, Teen Nights, Christian Endeavor, and a Bible Class trip to Chicago. We've also put together some gift boxes for Operation Christmas Child which distributes gifts to kids around the world.

We're looking forward to the Sunday School Christmas program on Sunday, December 9th.

Upcoming Vision Committee Presenation - November 28

Just wanted to let all of you know that the Vision Committee will be presenting the updated information from their meeting earlier in November to the church on Wednesday night November 28, 2007 at 7:15 pm.

That evening is a regularly scheduled family night, so pizza will be served at 6:30 pm.

The vision committee will be presenting their SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats) along with their rough draft of the church vision statement.

Long term, we hope to meet again in small groups to get feed back from the church on how best to refine the vision statement in a way that all can support.

Looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday night November 28th!

Keepers of the Faith - Young Men's Group

On Thursday night November 15, 2007, the Keepers of the Faith group went to the Indianapolis Museum of Art to view the Roman Art exhibit on loan from the Louvre Museum in Paris, France.

Brother Ken Wuethrich began the evening by sharing the story of King Nebuchadnezzar’s vision of the staute in 680 BC. Daniel interrupted the dream and prophesied of the Roman Empire to come. Daniel chapter 2

It was an enjoyable evening of Biblical history and culture for our young men & dads alike.

Walk Through the Bible

Tonight at chruch we continued the Walk Through the Bible. Brother Greg Stieglitz covered Judges Chapter 11 to 21. You can see the outline at Judges 11-21 handout or read the chapters at Judges 11
